Job summary

ChampionX, now part of SLB, seeks a Pump Repair Technician for the Hobbs, NM area. You will manage inventory, assemble/disassemble pumps, and support warehouse operations while maintaining safety and efficiency. Prior experience in oilfield or industrial settings is a plus.

You will be responsible for repairing pumps, handling parts deliveries, and providing friendly customer service on-site. A valid driver’s license and basic math/blueprint literacy are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence required.
• Must be 21 years of age to operate company vehicle.
• Some computer skills and basic math ability.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing documents.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking.
• Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage and pull inventory.
• Assemble and disassemble rod pumps.
• Perform standard warehouse duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Load and unload trucks of parts and pumps.
• Stock material and assist customers.
• Repair pumps and deliver to their location.
• Assist with miscellaneous duties as required.
