Job summary

Rain for Rent is hiring a Mechanic C to repair and maintain diesel and gasoline industrial and submersible pumps in Charlotte, NC. You will inspect, service, and support customers while representing the company’s values and safety standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of mechanic experience and a high school diploma or equivalent; training on pump systems and shop tools is provided. On-call rotation and flexible scheduling may be involved.

Qualifications

• High School or GED or better.
• 1-2 years: Mechanic Experience.
• 1-2 years: and one-year trade school or equivalent training maintaining industrial, mud, vacuum, or submersible pumps

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test pumps to manufacturer specs.
• Perform engine services including oil changes and filter changes.
• Grease bearings in pump bearings and wheel bearings.
• Read, comprehend, and apply information from parts diagrams, owner’s and instruction manuals.
