About the Opportunity

We are partnering with an established, nationally recognized mechanical contractor seeking an Industrial Project Manager to join its growing Industrial Piping division.

With approximately 600 employees and $300 million in annual revenue, this organization offers the stability of an established contractor combined with the opportunity to help build and grow a new division.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Engineer with industrial construction experience who is ready to take the next step.

Projects include data centers, industrial facilities, warehouses, water treatment plants, and wastewater facilities across the country.

Unlike traditional office-based PM positions, this role offers significant hands‑on involvement at active construction sites. Candidates should enjoy being in the field, working directly with construction teams, and traveling regularly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage industrial construction projects from contract award through completion and closeout.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, scope, and overall execution.
  • Partner with estimating teams to review bids, project scope, and job cost setup.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, field crews, and other project stakeholders.
  • Monitor manpower, construction sequencing, scheduling, and job site progress.
  • Manage approximately 1–4 projects simultaneously, depending on project size and complexity.
  • Travel frequently to project sites nationwide to support project execution.
  • Maintain strong communication between field operations, estimating, and leadership.
Qualifications
  • 4–7 years of industrial construction experience, ideally involving industrial piping, mechanical systems, or process piping.
  • Previous project management experience within industrial construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction site operations, scheduling, and project coordination.
  • Experience working with field superintendents, subcontractors, and construction crews.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the United States.
  • Engineering degree preferred but not required.
  • Annual Bonus: Typically $10,000–$30,000
  • Medical and dental insurance options
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match and additional employer contributions
  • Paid time off beginning at 80 hours annually, increasing with tenure
  • Eight paid company holidays
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributions for eligible participants
  • Company-provided cell phone
  • Company-paid basic life insurance
  • Optional short-term and long-term disability coverage
  • Employee wellness programs and incentives
Why Consider This Opportunity?
