Job summary

Powerwell, a manufacturer of fiberglass storage tanks and piping systems, seeks a Project Estimator & Project Management Support for its Victoria, Texas site. You will support Sales and Project Management, develop estimates, prepare bid packages, and maintain documentation from quotation through completion.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling technical project information.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting industrial estimating, construction, sales, manufacturing, or project management activities.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to work within established processes while identifying improvements.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and other teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PDF software.
• Experience with CRM or project management platforms; Salesforce/Quickbase is beneficial.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when required.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, RFQs, and bid docs to understand requirements.
• Prepare material and equipment takeoffs and identify clarifications.
• Develop project estimates using the estimating system, including labor, material, and equipment costs.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Management and other departments to validate assumptions.
• Assist with improving estimating processes, pricing models, and practices.
• Maintain bid packages, submittals, QA docs, and project records.
