Piping Technology & Products in Houston, TX is seeking an Industrial Engineer I to coordinate technical activities on assigned projects, plan schedules, conduct work, and ensure compliance with codes and PTP standards. The role requires 2+ years in engineering related to industrial equipment or piping, strong communication skills, and a BS in Engineering (MS preferred).

You will collaborate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality Control, and project teams, participate in client meetings, and

Qualifications

Experience: 2+ years in engineering roles related to industrial equipment, piping & pipe supports, or similar products preferred.
Technical Acumen: Understanding of piping & pipe supports, industrial applications, and a high-level of engineering principles.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage clients and internal teams effectively.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; Master’s Degree in Engineering preferred.

Responsabilités

Coordinate technical activities on assigned projects and manage schedules.
Submit manufacturing instructions to shop.
Ensure design accuracy and compliance with codes and PTP standards.
Maintain awareness of details and proactively identify and resolve issues across disciplines.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality Control and project teams.
Assist in the preparation of engineering proposals and participate in client/contract meetings.
