Job summary

Piping Technology & Products in Houston, TX, is seeking an Industrial Engineer I to coordinate technical activities on assigned projects within the Engineering department. This role plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates engineering work while ensuring compliance with codes and PTP standards, and effective communication among disciplines and project participants.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years engineering experience in industrial equipment or piping, a BS in Engineering (MS

Qualifications

Experience in industrial equipment, piping, or related projects.
Strong understanding of piping & pipe supports and engineering principles.
Excellent verbal and written communication to engage clients and internal teams.
BS in Engineering; MS preferred; equivalent education/experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

Coordinate planning, scheduling, and execution of engineering work on projects.
Submit manufacturing instructions to shop and ensure design accuracy.
Maintain compliance with codes and PTP standards; coordinate among disciplines.
Present technical knowledge and identify potential issues early.
Initiate corrective actions to resolve client/engineering or project management issues.
Collaborate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Sales, and Quality Control.
