Job summary

Thompson Turner Construction seeks an entry-level Project Engineer to support project managers and on-site leadership. You will monitor activities, inspect sites, review drawings, and coordinate deliveries to keep projects on schedule.

Ideal candidates have a related degree or 2 years field experience, strong communication, and ability to read blueprints. On-site role with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred or 2 years field experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication across all levels from client to crew.
• Ability to read, write and interpret blueprints and specs.

Responsibilities

• Work with Project Managers/Superintendents to ensure job specs are met.
• Review data and prepare itemized material lists and take-offs.
• Coordinate material purchasing, expediting and delivery timelines.
• Analyze drawings and specs for bidding or installation readiness.
• Prepare change orders and discuss estimates with clients/vendors.
