Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to lift 75–100 lbs regularly.
• Must pass a physical fit test.
• Able to work rotating 12-hour shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outdoor year-round work in extreme temperatures, dusty environments, confined spaces, and at heights.
• Must adhere to safety protocols and PPE, respirator use, and be clean shaven for respirator seal.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of grinding and related equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Monitor material flow from storage to mills and kilns.
• Operate valves, slides, and gates to control material flow as directed.
• Measure and report levels in bins, tanks, and silos.
• Assist with preheater tower and kiln inlet scaling, and minor repairs.
• Support maintenance with repairs and report malfunctions.
• Clean work areas and assist with mixing additives during finish grinding.
• Start auxiliary motors and ensure systems run per control room directions.
• Maintain communication with Production Teams about equipment status.
• Operate heavy equipment such as wheel loaders, skid steers, forklifts as required.
