Fresh Mark, Inc. in Massillon, Ohio, is seeking Industrial Production Supervisors to lead hourly associates in our food manufacturing facility. The role is salaried exempt with weekend pay and requires ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2–4 years in a food production facility; availability for OT and weekends; supervisors report one hour prior to shift start and may stay after to complete reports.

Description

The Fresh Mark facility in Massillon, Ohio, is currently accepting applications for Industrial Production Supervisors.

The essential function of our supervisors is to provide leadership and direction to hourly associates engaged in the manufacturing and processing of world class food products. The supervisor position is salary exempt plus weekend pay.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $58,000-$62,000 based on experience

• Maintain and ensure the safety of all employees through training, enforcement of safety rules and compliance with all Fresh Mark, Inc. policies and procedures.
• Maintain a sound working relationship with bargaining unit employees.
• Drive departmental efficiencies and maximize productivity.
• Monitor and control inventory levels and yields.
• Ensure effective communications.
• Control labor costs; staffing and overtime.
• Monitor machinery to maintain quality and minimize downtime.
• Monitor product quality and flow to meet customer demands and requirements.
• Promote and maintain teamwork among employees.
• Combination of 2 years of education, training and/or work experience related to food production, manufacturing processes or related field.
• Availability to work OT/weekends.
• Supervisors are expected to report one hour prior to their shift for start-up duties and be available to stay after the end of the shift to complete any necessary reports and/or paperwork.

Role Specific Requirements:

• Production Supervisors: Bachelor’s degree (preferred); 2-4 years’ experience in a food production facility.
