Job summary

Ferrero in Bloomington, IL is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Industrial Graduate Program. You will oversee teams on multiple production lines, ensuring safe operations, quality and sanitation while driving continuous improvement.

This role reports to the Production Manager and coordinates resources and tool availability during shifts. As a graduate, you will develop skills in resource allocation, staff development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in manufacturing, operations management, or food science.
• Relocation to Bloomington, IL may be required.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities on multiple lines.
• Supervise operations and support staff with emphasis on safety, quality and sanitation.
• Collaborate with Production Manager on resource allocation and skills development.
• Apply criteria to resource management on production lines.
• Address conflicts, lead disciplinary meetings, and coordinate with HR.
• Assist HR in hiring line personnel and provide evaluations for new hires.
• Implement measures to prevent incidents and reduce absences.
• Contribute to defining guidelines for skill development.
• Facilitate handoffs and communicate key information to peers and management.
