Job summary

Rawlings Sporting Goods is seeking a Full Time Product Designer to conceptualize, design, develop, and bring hard goods to market. You will create 2D/3D concepts, CAD models, renderings, and presentations while focusing on ergonomics and user experience.

Collaboration with Product, Engineering, Quality, and Marketing ensures design feasibility and manufacturability. The role emphasizes hands-on prototyping, international manufacturing partnership exposure, and a strong portfolio demonstrating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or Product Design.
• Proficiency in 3D design and modeling software (NX or SolidWorks preferred).
• 1–5 years of industrial/product design experience with physical consumer products.
• Strong portfolio showing concept to production work.
• Experience designing hard goods; soft goods experience a plus.
• Ability to balance design with cost, manufacturability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts from ideation through production with a user-focused approach.
• Create 2D/3D concepts, CAD models, sketches, renderings, and presentations.
• Design hard goods and contribute to soft goods, textiles, or cut-and-sew as needed.
• Apply ergonomics, durability, usability, and user experience to designs.
• Translate needs into physical product solutions and manage timelines.
