Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer II to join its operational team. The role focuses on improving efficiency, analyzing data, designing workflows, and implementing cost-saving improvements in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, and strong skills in Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required.
• 2–5 years of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lean principles (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes, equipment, and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Design and implement new or revised operational procedures, layouts, and workflows to optimize throughput and reduce waste.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Conduct time studies and work sampling to establish performance standards and identify ergonomic improvements.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and line workers to implement changes and ensure successful adoption.
• Monitor KPIs and report on operational efficiency and cost savings.
