Overview

This position can be based anywhere in the continental United States. This position is up to 85% Travel.

National Industrial Print Solutions Analyst!

The National Industrial Print Technical Specialists reports to the Director of Industrial Print Solutions of the Business Intelligence Solutions Division with the purpose of providing technical leadership in pre and post sales environments for Industrial Print Solutions. Critical to this role is the ability to act as both a technical expert and relationship manager during pre and post installation periods. The Industrial Print Solutions Analyst will interact with sales, logistics, supply chain and technical inkjet resources within KMI and MGI.

Responsibilities
  • Manage pre-sales and post-sales analyst efforts for all Industrial Print solutions within KMBS BUS.
  • This person must possess both sales and technical skills and be capable of effectively articulating product and technology positioning to partner and customer audiences, at both a technical and a sales level.
  • This person will act as the technical relationship manager prior to and following completion of installation.

Within the Pre-sales environment, this person will:

  • Analyze customer needs and translate them into deliverable solutions.
  • Demonstrate and enhance proposed solutions within targeted specialization.
  • Provide Dealer and Direct Industrial Print sales teams with proposal support by documenting appropriate workflow and ROI. Identify areas for third party integration and solutions opportunities.
  • Work with Industrial Print Logistical staff to smoothly transition proposed solutions to deliverable.

Within the Post-sales environment, this person will:

  • Work with the client including primary contact, operators, and supporting staff to ensure live-production projects are meeting objectives as to quality and workflow.
  • Provide fee-based project consulting on an ongoing basis once DandA is signed and all applications identified within the Statement Of Work are properly functioning.
  • Act as the Technical relationship manager for non-service related technical discussions. Interact with KMI Ink Jet defined point of contact for troubleshooting needs.
  • Help develop new opportunities and volumes within the account for other Industrial Print opportunities.
  • Ability to analyze complex workflows within the Industrial Print environment and develop Statements of Work. Drive world class execution of complex implementations.
  • Work well with clients to ensure solution suitability as well as overall product satisfaction.
  • Lead pre and post sales training efforts for client, operators, and KMBS Analysts on Industrial Print products.
  • Work across teams (regional sales, corporate marketing, training, support and corporate accounts and government sales) to achieve increased revenue and brand awareness.
Qualifications
  • Up to 85% travel required.
  • 10+ years’ experience in the Production Print industry including offset and digital.
  • At least 2+ years’ experience in the Industrial print industry or an adjacent area. Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and expert problem solving skills, sales, and project management skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations, develop trust-based relationships, and drive concrete results using a thorough understanding of applications software and hardware and their role in customer operations.
  • Proven ability to work with software technology partners at the business development and implementation level.
  • Strong drive and results orientation with experience leading complex sales and/or implementations within the Production Print arena.
  • Strong professional maturity and cross-group collaboration and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong technical acumen and passion for learning new technologies.
  • Self-starter who can manage ambiguity, chart a clear course and make tough decisions, and respond quickly to multiple issues.
  • Ability to execute strategic thinking, customer orientation, open and effective communication.
  • Strong virtual team and cross-group coordination with strong communication and partnership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of networking, PC and Mac workstations, workflow solutions and color management theory.
  • Ability to speak in public forums.
