PDS Inc. in Houston, TX, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer focused on industrial power systems to support capital projects in heavy industrial and energy infrastructure.

You will design, analyze, and review power distribution, prepare deliverables and studies, and support procurement, construction, and startup while ensuring compliance with U.S. codes. PE preferred; 5–10 years' experience; salary $130,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in heavy industrial/oil & gas environments preferred.
• PE license is a plus; not mandatory.
• Experience with power modeling software (ETAP/SKM/EasyPower) preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX, and handle multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Design, analyze, and review low-, medium-, and high-voltage power distribution systems.
• Prepare engineering deliverables such as one-lines, schematics, load studies, grounding and lighting layouts, and equipment specifications.
• Perform or review short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and load flow analyses.
• Select and specify major electrical equipment; review vendor documentation.
• Support procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup; ensure conformance with U.S. codes and standards.
