  • Lead or supervisory/management experience in manufacturing or powder coating environment.
  • Strong knowledge of powder coating processes, surface preparation, masking, and finishing techniques.
  • Experience operating and maintaining powder coating equipment, spray guns, ovens, and related tools.
  • Ability to inspect finished products for quality, coverage, color, thickness, and defects.
  • Knowledge of paint and powder coating specifications, safety procedures, and OSHA requirements.
  • Ability to read and follow work orders, production schedules, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, coach, and direct employees.
  • Ability to schedule and prioritize work to meet production deadlines and customer requirements.
  • Experience monitoring productivity, quality, materials, and equipment performance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot coating issues and make appropriate adjustments to the process.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Must be able to work independently while effectively leading a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and handle materials as required.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; additional technical training is a plus.

Job Summary:


The Industrial Powder Coat Paint Lead is responsible for overseeing the powder coating process, ensuring high-quality finishes on metal components while maintaining efficiency and adherence to safety standards. This role involves supervising the powder coating team, coordinating workflow, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with production schedules.
