Job Overview

Teknikor Contracting is seeking a Licensed Industrial Plumbing and Systems Technician to join our nationally traveling field operations team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial process piping systems. The position is ideal for a skilled plumber with strong troubleshooting ability, a high level of safety and code compliance, and the flexibility to work in diverse industrial settings alongside other trades. Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial process plumbing and piping systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
  • Troubleshoot plumbing problems and perform timely, effective repairs
  • Ensure full compliance with local plumbing codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety standards
  • Operate and maintain plumbing tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing instruments
  • Conduct leak tests and inspect piping systems for safety and reliability
  • Collaborate with electricians, millwrights, and other trades for seamless project execution
  • Assist in mentoring apprentices or junior plumbers on best practices
Qualifications
  • Valid Plumbing License (MA or RI preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in an industrial plumbing environment
  • Strong understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents

  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel as required
  • Valid driver's license
