Job summary

Therma-Tron-X, Inc. (TTX) is seeking an experienced PLC Programmer to design and troubleshoot PLC systems for our industrial controls.

The role involves creating ladder logic, custom screens, and script functions for material handling, oven equipment, hydraulic systems, and waste treatment within our systems. You will research new technologies, follow projects through from programming to manual writing, and travel to customer sites to install, debug, and train staff.

Qualifications

Associates degree in a technical field related to machine control preferred or equivalent experience.
Strong understanding of PLC, computer, and networking architecture.
Working knowledge of relational databases.
Familiarity with Digital, Analog, and PID controls.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Familiarity with proper wiring, safety, and control standards.
Capability to assist with wiring and testing of control circuits.
Recent experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs preferred.
Ability to travel approximately 25% both in the continental US and internationally.

Responsibilities

Program ladders, screens, and script functions to control material handling, ovens, hydraulics, and waste treatment.
Research and develop new technologies for control and monitoring of systems.
Complete projects from programming to manual writing, install and debug at customer sites, and train personnel on site.
