Job summary

Therma-Tron-X, Inc. (TTX®) is seeking a full-time PLC programmer to design and troubleshoot control systems for our material handling, oven, and process equipment. You will develop ladder logic, HMI screens, and custom scripts for our installations.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent in a technical field, strong PLC and networking knowledge, and familiarity with digital/analog/PID controls. Travel about 20% domestically and internationally to install, debug, and train on site.

Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent in a technical field related to machine control.
Strong understanding of PLC, computer, and networking architecture.
Working knowledge of relational databases.
Familiarity with digital, analog, and PID controls.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Familiarity with wiring, safety, and control standards.
Ability to assist with wiring and testing of control circuits.
Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs preferred.
Ability to travel ~20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Create ladder logic, screens, and scripts for material handling systems, ovens, hydraulics, and other industrial controls.
Research and develop new technologies for control and monitoring of our systems.
Complete projects from programming to manuals, installation at customer sites, and on-site training.
