Job summary

Aquatech International in Pasadena, TX is seeking an Instrument and Controls Technician for a full-time, day-shift role at our service center. The position requires experience in water treatment and industrial control systems, with responsibilities including electrical troubleshooting, PLC/HMI maintenance, and calibration of instruments.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, plus knowledge of metalworking and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of relevant experience in industrial electrical/instrumentation maintenance.
• Technical School Degree preferred.
• Water treatment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical equipment such as motors, VFDs, and motorized valves.
• Perform continuity, Megger, or ground fault testing.
• Maintain Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI for machine-mounted controls.
• Calibrate instruments, analyzers, and valve positioners.
• Advise on spare parts maintenance and inventory.
• Prepare calibration and maintenance reports.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for outside work.
• Lead electrical maintenance and schedule preventative maintenance on all electrical components.
• Housekeeping duties as needed.
