Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Russellville, AR seeks an experienced Industrial Electrical / Automation Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair automated equipment and PLC-controlled systems on a day-to-day basis.

You will read schematics, work with VFDs and HMIs, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe operation around energized machinery; candidates should be hands-on, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial electrical, controls, automation, or PLC experience preferred.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and motor controls.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment is a plus.
• Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install, wire, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical components and automated equipment
• Work with PLC-controlled machinery and automation systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
• Troubleshoot electrical, controls, sensors, motors, switches, and related components
• Assist with wiring and assembly of control panels and automated machinery
• Work with VFDs, HMIs, relays, contactors, and motor controls
• Diagnose electrical and equipment issues and complete necessary repairs
• Assist with machine installation, startup, testing, and commissioning
• Perform preventative maintenance and electrical repairs as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures while working around energized equipment and machinery
