Job summary

Graymont is seeking an Ebensburg GRAYBOND Facility Plant Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot process problems in mechanical and electrical systems, and support installation projects. The role requires safe work practices, strong problem solving, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications include a valid PA driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with industrial equipment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid PA Driver’s License.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Welding certificate preferred.
• Experience or training in repair of industrial equipment is preferred.
• Experience with electrical work or applicable electrical experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety rules, housekeeping, and clean-up procedures.
• Inspect and repair industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot elevators, screw conveyors, weigh belt feeders, electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Create work orders, update status, and document tasks performed.
• Organize parts inventory and support component layout and installation.
• Execute installation of new equipment and perform welding as required.
• Work in various environments and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Collaborate with team while working independently.
