Job summary

HyPro Incorporated in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a Plant Custodian to keep the facility clean and orderly. This role emphasizes waste removal, restroom sanitation, floor care, and general upkeep throughout the plant.

You will manage supplies, operate a floor scrubber, and assist with basic maintenance reporting. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
• One year of housekeeping or related experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Empties and cleans waste receptacles, removes trash, and relines baskets.
• Cleans and sanitizes restroom fixtures including sinks, urinals, toilets, and mirrors.
• Wipes and disinfects door handles, railings, and other high-traffic surfaces.
• Sweeps, vacuums, and mops floors/carpets; spot cleans walls and doors.
• Replenishes supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and sanitizer.
• Drives floor scrubber/sweeper to maintain clean floors throughout the Plant.
• Mops areas not reachable by the machine; cleans break room and training areas.
• Monitors cleaning supplies and requests more as needed.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures; washes windows and blinds when needed.
• Observes and reports needed repairs or replacements to maintenance.
