You will estimate costs for process and industrial piping projects and collaborate with estimators, project managers, engineers, and vendors to deliver accurate, competitive bids.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating and PM in industrial construction markets.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings/prints and specs.
• Strong understanding of piping installation and fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Performs estimating to prepare competitive and profitable proposals.
• Formulates bidding strategies with Lead Estimator for major projects.
• Review estimates, scope, pricing and assembly of proposals.
• Consults with clients, engineers, subcontractors and material suppliers to discuss estimates and cost reductions.
• Maintain records of all working documents and data to back up estimates.
• Promote a safe and injury-free work environment.
