Job summary

Repcon, Inc. seeks an experienced Pipefitter to assemble, lay out, install and maintain pipe systems for steam, fluid or gas services at industrial sites.

The role involves working with pipe, flanges, supports and valves across buildings, tanks, boilers and outdoor areas, with safety at heights up to 300 ft. The ideal candidate has ≥3 years in the trade, the ability to read engineering drawings and manuals, and possesses required certifications such as REPCON pipefitter and rigging assessments,

Qualifications

• Pass a REPCON Pipefitter Assessment.
• Pass a REPCON Basic Rigging Assessment, or NCCER certified.
• Current Basic Orientation Plus (Safety Council card) or within 3 months expiration.
• Current TWIC Card.
• 3+ years of experience in the craft.
• Industrial construction/maintenance work history and experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, manuals and instructions.
• Knowledge of pipe fitting processes for industrial piping and boilers.
• Good problem solving and reading comprehension.
• Team player with ability to work independently when needed.
• Strong communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, lay out, install and maintain pipe systems for steam, fluid or gas services.
• Work with pipe, flanges, supports, valves, gauges, hangars and related components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals and manufacturers’ instructions.
• Collaborate with team on-site and ensure safety at heights and in confined spaces.
