Job summary

Olin is seeking a Pipefitter in Augusta, GA, to install, inspect, maintain, and repair extensive utility pipelines and fixtures across the plant. You’ll interpret blueprints, perform welding, and troubleshoot systems in a safety‑driven environment.

Qualified candidates will have five years of maintenance experience as a pipefitter (Journeylevel preferred), be able to work overtime, and pass a physical/drug screen. OSHA/EPA safety standards apply throughout operations.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and five years of maintenance experience as a pipefitter (industrial setting preferred).
• Journeylevel designation strongly preferred; able to pass physical, drug screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair utility pipelines and fittings (steam, water, gas, air, hydraulic, etc.).
• Act as department technical resource for problem solving and equipment modifications.
• Use welding equipment and perform soldering, brazing, and insulation as required.
• Interpret blueprints and piping sketches; plan layouts and installations.
• Conduct pressure tests and maintain air handling systems.
• Operate hand and power tools, welding gear, pipe threaders, forklifts, and cranes.
• Use CMMS and PCs for maintenance tracking and troubleshooting.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean, safe condition.
