Qualifications

• 3+ years of pipefitting experience with steel, carbon, black pipe or PTFE.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and isometric prints.
• Experience cutting, bending, threading, and fitting pipe up to 12 inches or larger.
• Familiar with piping systems and installation methods in industrial settings.
• Safety training including Great Lakes Safety and OSHA 10.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipefitting duties on new industrial construction projects and large manufacturing facilities.
• Install, connect, and secure built-up and welded pipe systems.
• Read and interpret pipe schematics, blueprints, and isometric prints to plan installations.
• Cut, bend, thread, and fit pipe according to project specifications.
• Assist with pipeline construction, pipe laying, and pipe installation across multiple sites.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed for piping systems.
• Work with various piping materials and maintain piping systems in industrial environments.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain tools in good working order.
