Job summary

Strobel Energy Group in the United States is seeking an experienced Industrial Journeyman Pipefitter to plan, install, and repair pipe systems according to project specifications. You will read blueprints, select materials, cut and assemble piping, perform leak tests, and work with limited supervision while maintaining safety standards.

This role requires 5+ years in pipe fitting and strong teamwork. Candidates must be able to read ISO specs, welding symbols, and technical manuals; possess OSHA

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years’ experience with pipe fitting processes.
• Demonstrated industrial construction/maintenance experience.
• Ability to read prints and construction drawings.
• Must understand how to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Ability to read weld symbols and related drawings.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• OSHA safety guidelines knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope of work, locations, quantities, and material specs.
• Selects pipe type/size and related materials per specifications.
• Cuts, threads, bends and assembles pipes.
• Prepare, cut, fabricate, layout, fit, position and assemble piping components.
• Bolt and clamp parts to secure in position for welding.
• Install hangers, supports, valves and components per piping plans.
• Perform leak tests to ensure piping quality.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment.
• Hoist loads using rigging equipment.
• Work with limited supervision.
