Job summary
Tradesmen International is seeking experienced Industrial Pipefitters for immediate work in the Cameron, LA area, with hiring based out of Houston, Texas. This opportunity offers competitive pay, daily per diem for travelers, and the chance to work on industrial projects with a focus on safety and craftsmanship.
Ideal candidates will have significant industrial pipefitting experience and a commitment to quality work.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of industrial construction/maintenance welding experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, ISOs, field installations, material takeoffs, and field sketches.
- Experience fabricating and installing various types of pipe (screw, socket weld, stainless, carbon steel).
- Ability to install valves, underground pipe, pipe hangers, and supports.
- Experience with steam and heat tracing, beveling machines, and basic plumbing repair.
- Minor valve maintenance and repair skills.
- Ability to test piping systems and perform leak tests.
- Oxygen and acetylene cutting skills.
- Basic rigging experience.
- Operation of pneumatic and electric tools.
- Must pass a drug screen, hearing test, and respirator fit test.
