Job summary

Labor On Demand, Inc. is seeking a Pipefitter in the San Antonio area to install and repair plumbing systems, fabricate piping, and ensure leak-free operation on-site. The position requires reading blueprints and using hand/power tools to cut, thread, and bend piping.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience or completed a technical program, and must pass background and drug screening. Schedule is 7AM–Finish with potential weekend work; pay ranges from $15 to $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications to determine pipe layout.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and piping schematics.
• Minimum 1 year of experience performing essential pipefitting duties or through a technical training program.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications to determine pipe layout.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles using hand and power tools.
• Assemble and install a variety of metal and non-metal pipes and pipe fittings.
• Secure piping to structures with brackets, clamps, and hangers.
• Test installed systems for leaks using pressure gauges and hydrostatic or pneumatic testing.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on piping systems.
• Coordinate with other trades and team members to ensure accurate and timely project completion.
• Adhere to company and OSHA safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Complete job documentation and work orders as require.
