Description

Job Summary:

PowerSecure is seeking qualified candidates for projects across the US. The Mechanical Installer should be skilled in HVAC installations, including piping replacements and equipment installations such as chillers, boilers, air handlers, pumps, and VAV boxes. Minimum Qualifications:

• High School, GED, or Trade School
• Valid Driver’s license preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in pipefitting within HVAC sectors
• Experience with various piping techniques and materials, including steel, copper, plastic, fiberglass, ranging from ½” to 6” or more
• Experience with HVAC equipment installation and related processes
• Experience with sheet metal ductwork and electrical controls is a plus
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and other site requirements
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with project teams to ensure material and equipment readiness
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Install and maintain piping and duct systems
• Work well with others and follow safety policies
• Train apprentices and develop skills
• Maintain organizational and planning skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must lift up to 50 pounds and be physically capable of various movements and tasks. Work may involve exposure to weather, noise, electrical hazards, chemicals, heights, and other risks.
