Description

Job Summary:
PowerSecure is seeking qualified candidates for exciting new projects throughout the US. Core competencies for the Mechanical Installer include the ability to complete HVAC installations including piping replacements, equipment installations such as chillers, boilers, air handlers, pumps, VAV boxes, etc. Our company provides a safety-centric culture, opportunities for growth, professional development, and competitive compensation packages.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School, GED, or Trade School
• Valid Driver’s license preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in pipefitting within the HVAC sector
• Experience with various pipe and fitment techniques and materials
• Hands-on experience with HVAC equipment installation and demolition
• Experience with sheet metal ductwork and electrical/control installation is a plus
• Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and pre-access requirements
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project teams on material and equipment needs
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Layout and install HVAC systems and piping
• Maintain safety standards and train apprentices
• Work collaboratively and efficiently

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must lift up to 50 pounds and be physically capable of various movements. Work environment may include exposure to weather, noise, electrical hazards, chemicals, heights, and other risks.
