George T. Wilkinson, Inc. is seeking an experienced Pipefitter for commercial and industrial piping projects on site in Massachusetts. You will read blueprints and specifications, install and assemble piping systems, and coordinate with other trades.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Journeyman Pipefitter License.
• Commercial or industrial pipefitting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and piping diagrams.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills; commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble commercial and industrial piping systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, piping diagrams, isometric drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, fit, weld, brazing, and assemble pipe and fittings.
• Install valves, hangers, supports, strainers, expansion joints, and other piping components.
• Work with boiler, heating, hydronic, steam, condensate, compressed air piping systems.
• Perform pressure testing and other system testing procedures.
• Identify and correct installation issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
• Collaborate with teammates and other trades to keep projects moving.
• Mentor Apprentices and Helpers develop their pipefitting skills.
