An excellent career opportunity is available for an Industrial Pipe Fitter / Maintenance Mechanic - Level 4 at UOP's Research & Pilot Plant in McCook, IL.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Layout, install, and maintain piping and accessories for gas, liquid, and steam systems supporting R&D Pilot Plant and Manufacturing facilities, following Honeywell safety practices.
2. Perform and lead troubleshooting and repairs on process piping, utility headers, boilers, heat exchangers, and steam tracing.
3. Serve as Subject Matter Expert in advanced threading, bending, and back welding of flanged and socketed pipes.
4. Use hand tools for repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment modifications.
5. Support catalyst manufacturing through on-call schedules and teamwork on multi-person jobs.

The annual salary range is provided as a guideline and may vary based on experience, education, skills, and market conditions.

You Must Have:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to follow safety procedures
• Experience with hand tools and pipe fitting (threading, welding, blueprint reading)
• Experience with blueprints and P&ID's
• Knowledge of materials like plastic, glass, stainless steel, and sheet metal
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, work on elevated platforms, climb ladders, and use portable lifts
• Availability to be on call one week out of every four weeks
