Job summary

Cajun Industries, LLC is seeking a Pipe Fabrication Project Coordinator to help plan and coordinate activities for designated projects in Port Allen, LA, with no travel required.

The role requires 1–3 years in heavy-industrial piping, structural steel, and process equipment, plus strong Excel proficiency and Primavera P6 knowledge. You’ll interface with management and field teams to meet schedules and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field or relevant industrial experience.
• Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong communication with management and supervision.
• Reading/writing/hearing comprehension for directions and safety policies.
• Knowledge of safety rules and client/company policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project schedule using Primavera P6.
• Assist in purchasing subcontract administration and change orders.
• Review proposals, budgets, materials, and delivery dates.
• Read piping isometrics, structural steel, and process equipment drawings.
• Collaborate with executives, clients, and project teams.
• Work in plant operations or construction site settings.
