Job summary

Hurckman Mechanical Industries, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Pipe Drafter/Modeler to create fabrication-level drawings and 3D models for industrial piping projects. You will prepare spool mappings, weld details, and pipe connections, coordinating with manufacturing and field teams to ensure accurate installations.

Strong experience in Revit, AutoCAD, and piping fundamentals is preferred. No degree is strictly required, though related degrees are helpful; a collaborative, problem-solving mindset

• Experience in pipe drafting and 3D modeling for industrial piping projects.
• Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD; knowledge of piping fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Create fabrication-level drawings and 3D models from existing drawings.
• Prepare spool mappings, weld details, and pipe connections for fabrication.
• Coordinate with field teams and contractors to install drawings.
• Utilize field-collected data (point clouds) to refine drawings.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and customers.
