Job summary

Tomball Controls, LLC is seeking a diligent painter to apply coatings to large generator enclosures and base tanks in our Texas facility. You will prepare surfaces, mix paints, apply coatings with appropriate equipment, and ensure ventilation and cleanup after each application.

This role requires experience painting a variety of surface types, proficiency with painting tools, and strong safety practices. You will maintain technical equipment, dispose of chemical waste properly, and communicate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience painting a variety of surface types.
• Proficiency with technical machinery.
• Physical strength to operate machinery.
• Knowledge of a wide variety of painting tools.
• Diligence and attention to detail.
• Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Painting large generator enclosures and base tanks.
• Cleaning surfaces prior to layering paint.
• Maintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that they are in working order.

• Removing previous paint surfaces using masking or a chemical rinse.
• Painting small items and doing touch-ups.
• Ensuring proper ventilation after the paint is applied.
