Who are we looking for?

Composite Resources is looking for experienced Industrial Painters to join our growing team. As an Industrial Painter, you will paint composite materials and perform hand-finishing operations.

What you get to do!

  1. Application of paint products in accordance with customer specifications and requirements
  2. Maintain, clean, and repair spray guns as well as other related equipment
  3. Prepping parts and equipment prior to painting (i.e. sanding and taping)
  4. Apply both water and solvent-based coatings to meet class A finish in urethane, epoxy CARC, and enamel finishes
  5. Use both gravity feed and pressure feed paint equipment
  6. Attention to detail and accuracy while working with tight tolerances
  7. Performing self-quality checks

What you will bring to the Team

  1. 3-5 years minimum experience with industrial coatings
  2. Ability to apply and sand body filler
  3. Ability to read and understand technical documents in order to obtain paint mixtures
  4. Understand mil thickness, wet, and dry
  5. Autobody/automotive or other industrial paint experience preferred including the following: Masking parts, mixing of paints, and bondo & priming
  6. Experience with paint sprayers, pneumatic sanders, and other paint prep experience preferred
  7. Great teammate who can effectively interact with co-workers, management and collaborate with other departments in the organization
  8. High school Diploma or equivalent
