Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally more than 100 pounds when turning parts over.
• Employee must wear OSHA approved safety shoes, safety glasses, respirator, hearing protection and painter's suit.

Responsibilities

• Select proper color and assure paint is properly mixed.
• Operate manual paint pumps for special colors or small batch operation.
• Paint oversize material in manual spray booth, including power washing and drying.
• Clean spraying equipment with solvent.
• Maintain the paint exhaust filter system.
