Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial painting or powder coating preferred.
• Familiarity with spray painting techniques and equipment.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and quality control standards.
• Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow all safety practices and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Painting & Finishing: Apply paint or powder coat to metal parts using spray guns or other application methods in a paint booth or production line setting.
• Surface Prep: Clean, mask, and prepare surfaces for painting by removing rust, oil, or debris using solvents, sanders, or hand tools.
• Quality Inspection: Visually inspect painted parts for proper coverage, color match, thickness, and finish consistency. Touch up or rework as necessary.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain spray guns, paint booths, curing ovens, and related painting equipment according to safety and quality protocols.
• Recordkeeping: Maintain production logs, track part numbers, and record quantities or material usage as directed.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with loaders/unloaders and supervisors to coordinate part flow and meet production goals.
• Housekeeping & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
