Job summary

Major Tool & Machine seeks a Paint Technician to perform all paint related tasks per customer specifications. You will review drawings, operate paint booths, and maintain equipment in a high-noise production environment. Daily data entry and quality checks are required.

Educational requirements include a high school diploma; vocational training is a plus. This is a first-shift, on-site position with comprehensive benefits and opportunity for growth within MTM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; vocational schooling preferred.
• 2 years experience preferred, but not required; mechanical aptitude required.
• Medical certification required to wear respirator.
• Visual acuity to read gauges, blueprints, and precision instruments.
• Hearing ability required to monitor machine sounds and communicate.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment checks on paint booth daily.
• Record paint usages daily.
• Perform paint related tasks on steel and aluminum components.
• Maintain paint equipment.
• Accurate data entry and inspection verification.
• Keep paint booth clean and organized.
• Review customer drawings for paint requirements.
