Job summary

Wabtec in Yankton, SD is seeking an Industrial Painter to apply paints according to customer specifications, prepare parts for painting, and operate equipment like spray guns and pressure washers. You will work with the Paint Supervisor and fellow painters to meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 1 year of experience; ability to lift 50 lbs; pass pre-employment tests; and good English communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and 1 year of work experience.
• Industrial painting experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow customer specifications and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Paint products per customer specifications and maintain painting equipment.
• Change paint filters and manage paint supplies; coordinate with supervisor, Quality, and Purchasing.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow all safety guidelines.
