Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial painting experience.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, paint mixing, and industrial coating application.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning and sandblasting.
• Mix and apply industrial paints, primers, and coatings according to specifications.
• Operate spray guns and other painting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Verify paint coating thickness using a mil thickness gauge to ensure MIL-SPEC compliance.
• Follow work orders, drawings, and customer specifications.
• Maintain painting equipment, tools, and the paint booth in clean condition.
• Follow safety procedures, including PPE and handling hazardous materials.
• Maintain records of paint usage and completed work.
• Meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or material shortages to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow company environmental regulations for storage, disposal, and emissions.
