The role involves mixing and applying paints, maintaining equipment, managing inventory, and adhering to manufacturing specs. Strong reading, math, communication, and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math as job duties require.
• Must possess common sense, positive attitude and excellent attendance.
• Must be quality and safety conscious and a team player.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with coworkers.
• Extensive standing, bending, lifting and walking required.
• Must use personal protective equipment and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Paint metal parts and components using spray methods or manual tools.
• Set up, operate, inspect and handle painting materials safely.
• Inspect finishes to ensure quality standards are met.
• Clean and maintain spray painting equipment.
• Manage inventory of paints, thinners and related materials.
• Follow manufacturing specifications and processes and work with team.
