Responsibilities

  • Monitor the inventory of equipment required for painting operations.
  • Clean accessories and equipment using solvents.
  • Wear personal protective equipment and comply with health and safety guidelines.
  • Perform related tasks to support the team in completing departmental projects.

Job description

  • Handle painted/prepared parts using a forklift or overhead crane;
  • Organize the work area;
  • Clean, sand, and occasionally strip and degrease parts to properly prepare surfaces for painting;
  • Paint parts and perform touch-ups as required;
  • Inspect parts (paint thickness, finish quality, etc.);
  • Complete quality control and production documentation;
