Job summary

Vontier Corporation is seeking a painting technician to apply coatings on steel surfaces, prime and finish with industrial coatings, and ensure quality through inspection. The role requires safety awareness and ability to read engineering prints, with related education or experience.

Candidates should be able to lift and move materials, follow procedures, and work under supervision in a manufacturing environment in Wisconsin. Training and PPE are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to certify to wear respirator for painting.
• Safety conscious with an excellent safety record.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and manuals.
• Proficient in basic math operations for measurements and conversions.
• Able to interpret instructions and follow procedures accurately.

Responsibilities

• Apply coats of paint to decorate and protect surfaces.
• Prime bare steel with industrial primer and urethane coatings.
• Apply finish coat with urethane and check mil thickness per specs.
• Inspect finished work for quality and document results.
• Follow safety and PPE requirements at all times.
