Job summary

American StaffCorp is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter / Paint Prep Technician to join our production team. In this alternate painter role, you will rotate with two primary painters, operating high-pressure spray systems and performing paint preparation tasks.

You should have hands-on knowledge of industrial painting equipment, a focus on quality and safety, and the ability to adapt to a 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM morning shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating airless/air-assisted/high-pressure spray equipment.
• Strong knowledge of equipment setups, mixing ratios, and fluid pressures.
• Ability to switch between painting and prep tasks and meet production timelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain high-pressure spray systems to apply coatings per standards.
• Rotate as an alternate painter with two teammates to balance workload.
• Prep raw parts and surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and staging materials.
• Clean and perform basic maintenance on spray guns, pumps, hoses, and mixers.
• Maintain clean, orderly paint booth, change filters, and manage overspray control.
• Follow safety protocols for chemical handling, PPE, and waste disposal.
