Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an industrial painter in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience painting sheet metal.
• WHMIS certification.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs and distinguish colors.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to spray or coat products and apply protective or decorative finishes.
• Prepare and apply stencils, decals, and other decorative items on finished products.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Inspect surfaces for contamination prior to painting.
• Apply high-performance coatings to metal surfaces, parts, assemblies and structures.
• Mix and select appropriate paints.
• Clean equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Adhere to Silent-Aire safety policies and standards.
