Job summary

MANITOU Group is hiring a paint sprayer for the Madison, South Dakota site. This permanent 1st shift position runs Monday-Thursday, 5a-3:30p, on-site with a base pay range of $22-$24 per hour and a potential quarterly bonus.

The role requires a safety-first mindset, experience in painting finishes, and the ability to work independently while supporting other areas as needed. Company benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision and a 401k, with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter, team player and have the ability to multitask.
• Preferred manufacturing paint experience.
• High School or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures; perform tasks in a safe manner.
• In the event of an accident or injury immediately notify the Shift Lead or Supervisor on duty.
• Operate, maintain, and use personal protective equipment and other safety supplies and equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company policies relating to safety, housekeeping and Hazardous Waste Management programs.
• Work without close supervision.
• Contact the Maintenance Department to get equipment repaired when necessary.
• Ability and willingness to take on additional assignments as requested by management.
• Use tools, equipment and technology, computers or automated systems.
• Check results for conformance to print and / or specifications and make necessary corrections (Paint standard MSD 0210).
• Work with coworkers in a polite and courteous manner, providing cross training as needed.
• Able to work overtime as required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely and independently.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for extended periods of time.
• Other duties as assigned.
