Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a coatings technician to properly mix and apply specialty coatings using brush, roller, and spray methods according to customer specifications. The role includes maintaining quality with WFT gauges and performing final touch-ups before shipment.

The candidate will clean and maintain paint equipment, and ensure a safe, compliant working environment, following written or verbal instructions and company rules.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of airless/conventional spraying systems.
• Thorough knowledge of industrial epoxy or other multi-part coatings.
• Basic knowledge of, and ability to use gauges and determine MIL readings.
• Basic knowledge of, and ability to communicate and understand work instructions.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Properly mix and apply specialty coatings using brush, roller, and spray methods according to customer specifications.
• Maintain quality through use of WFT gauge.
• Perform final touch-ups prior to shipment as needed.
• Clean and maintain paint equipment such as air lines, paint pots, and paint guns.
