Job summary

Westech Engineering LLC in West Jordan, UT is seeking a full-time Industrial Painter to join our coating operations at the drives manufacturing facility. You will apply coatings on OEM equipment, manage booth maintenance, and collaborate with fabrication teams to meet delivery schedules.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of industrial coatings experience, can pass required tests, and are able to lift up to 70 lbs. We offer a competitive salary, strong benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• One year or more of industrial coatings experience.
• Ability to pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) for respirator use.
• Must be able to lift 40–70 lbs and operate lifting equipment.
• Must meet driving eligibility and MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Apply coatings as specified on OEM equipment.
• Track inventory of paint, tapes, paper, etc.
• Schedule sandblasting to meet painting and delivery dates.
• Maintain booths and ensure safe operation.
• Maintain and clean painting tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with fabrication to resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Work with inspectors to verify specifications.
• Operate testing equipment like profile gauge and humidity gauge.
• Complete coating reports and interact with customers.
